ABOUT
I'm Kallyn Hobmann, a reliable and driven anchor and multimedia journalist with an eye for stories that connect my community. I am currently a weekday morning anchor, anchoring both news and weather, for 23ABC News in Bakersfield, California.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE
-
I have 3.5 years of live reporting and anchoring behind me. From daily live shots to covering breaking news like devastating wildfires and a 14-hour standoff with the SWAT Team, I am flexible and work very well under pressure, even when on air.
-
I credit much of my success to excellent time management and organization. Anchoring news and weather, producing a weekly segment I created and leading the morning team on top of my usual daily duties means I am oftentimes working on multiple projects at once. I always maintain communication and never miss a deadline.
-
I am extremely comfortable with video production, and I love the creativity that filming and editing allows.
-
Strong writing skills allow me to tell stories in a powerful and memorable way.
